Rick Gerig Living With Hope

Rick Gerig – President

Rick and his wife Lori are both natives of Fort Wayne where they have raised their four children. They are both active in their local church and involved in a number of special needs ministries both domestic and internationally. They are also board members of World Ventures, an organization dedicated to providing business opportunities and training to individuals in developing countries around the world. Rick work at Gerig Enterprises and Companion Lifeline.

Dr. Jeff Haag Living With Hope

Dr. Jeff Haag – Member

Dr. Haag earned his Bachelor’s Degree with High Honors from Wheaton College. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia as a Neuro-ophthalmologist. His residency at Loyola University was followed by a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. In addition to neuro-ophthalmology, Dr. Haag practices comprehensive ophthalmology. He is part of several humanitarian teams which provide eye surgery in developing countries. Dr. Haag and his wife serve the Lord at their church in Wheaton and many ministries around the world.

Dr. Tim Mead Haag Living With Hope

Dr. Tim Mead – Member

Dr. Mead served as the Medical Director of CURE Kenya from 1999 until 2011. And God used his hands to served Michael’s life. After that, he headed up orthopedics at the CURE Oasis Hospital in Al Ain, UAE, followed by a time as the Medical Director at the Tebow CURE Hospital in the Philippines. Dr. Mead then served as CURE’s Senior Orthopedic Consultant, traveling to various CURE hospitals, supporting and mentoring physicians across the network. He retired from CURE in 2018. Dr. Mead is a U.S. board certified orthopedic surgeon from Muskegon, Michigan, with specialized training in pediatrics. Prior to joining CURE, he ran an orthopedic practice in western Michigan providing a broad range of surgical reconstructive services, including joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery.

Jason Turner

Pastor Jason Turner – Member

Jason is an ordained clergy in the United Methodist Church with 14 years of ministry experience. He now works full-time as a Service Coordinator for DayOne PACT, a non-profit service coordination agency for people with developmental disabilities. He also works part-time for Phil’s Friends, a Christ-centered cancer support organization. He is married with two kids and resides in a western suburb of Chicago. His family is very involved in their local church. Jason is a passionate communicator, avid runner, and big Dallas Cowboys fan!
