Jim Belford has been married to his wife Casey for almost 37 years. They have lived in Schererville, IN for 29 of those years. Jim and Casey have 3 grown children and one grandson. Jim is the President of J & L Fasteners located in Hammond, IN. Jim and his father founded the company in July of 1979 and recently celebrated 40 years in business. Jim and Casey were members of Suburban Bible Church in Highland, IN for 27 years. There, Jim served in leadership capacity as a deacon and elder.
Most of his 20 years on the board was spent serving as Deacon of Finance or the Deacon Chairman. Most recently, Jim has served on the Stewardship Team of Faith Church in Dyer, IN serving in the role of Finance Deacon and Deacon Board Chairman. Jim has also served on the Executive Committee, and he has served as a small group leader and as a facilitator for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Jim met Michael Panther at Faith Church through his wife, Casey who joined Michael on the very first Living With Hope wheelchair distribution trip to Kenya in September of 2018.
